Heart-Racing Performance
Under the hood of the 2023 Acura Integra is a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four-cylinder VTEC engine – the same as you’d find in the Civic Si. But go deeper, and you find that this has been tuned up even further. With 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque on tap, the Integra is fairly quick off the line and is more than willing to play on the road. Motortrend managed to hit 0-60 in 7.7 seconds in testing the manual transmission.

On curvy roads, the base suspension is more than willing to tackle performance driving, sticking to the pavement with confidence. Performance drivers will love the optional adaptive suspension system and the available Individual drive mode addition to the drive-mode selector provide increased responsiveness and performance. The 3-mode Integrated Dynamic System (IDS) allows the driver to select between Comfort, Normal, and Sport modes to tune their driving experience to their liking.

All of this comes with exceptional fuel economy! Getting real-world performance of 29 mpg city and 36 mpg highway, it’s more than adequate for daily commutes while also letting you tear loose on the weekends.

Stylish and Smart
Sitting on 17- or 18-inch wheels, the 2023 Acura Integra combines the slick, liftback look with clean lines. The front end, with LED headlights, is centered around the intricate frameless Diamond Pentagon grille, atop a wide, sporty stance. In the back, an aggressive rear fascia with dual exhaust finishers combines sport and luxury. The Liftback helps the Integra to maximize interior space but stay sporty - synthetic leather-trimmed seating for five offers plenty of room for adults, even in the rear seats.

Safety and entertainment come together in the new Integra, with standard wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration across the line-up. The basic 8-speaker premium audio system is centered on the 7-inch dash-mounted touchscreen display, while a larger 9-inch display is offered that features integrated Amazon Alexa, along with the ELS Studio 3D premium audio system.

Another way the Integra earns Car of the Year points is through the comprehensive AcuraWatch suite of safety and drive assistive technologies. Standard on all new 2023 Acura Integra models, this suite includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Forward Collision Warning to monitor traffic to the front, and Lane Keeping Assist System and Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning helps keep the Integra between the lines. Blind Spot Information System with Rear Cross Traffic Monitoring is also standard across the Integra lineup.

Poised for Success
The North American Car of the Year award is just the start for the 2023 Integra. It’s been nominated for awards across the industry, and has already won more than its fair share of them. This includes the 2023 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice for Best Sports Sedan and the highest possible safety rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

But it’s not resting on its laurels – the Integra Type S is preparing to join the lineup for the 2024 model year, looking to raise the level of power and performance! While details aren’t solidified yet, the Type S is expected to top 300 horsepower, adding yet another reason to check out the award-winning Integra.
